This policy explains what information The Pettengill Group collects through www.thepettengillgroup.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Pettengill Group is a real estate team affiliated with William Raveis Real Estate.
Information you give us
When you contact us or request a home valuation, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- What you're looking to do (buy, sell, rent or a consultation) and any message you write
- For home valuations: the property address, unit and your selling timeline, if you share them
- The page you submitted the form from and the time you submitted it
If you sign up for email updates, we collect your email address and the neighborhood or town page you signed up from.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to operate and secure the site. We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load for visitors; it collects anonymous performance data and does not use cookies to identify you. We don't use advertising cookies or sell information to advertisers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare a home valuation, and follow up about buying, selling or renting
- To keep a record of inquiries so our team can coordinate
- If you signed up for updates, to email you market news, new guides and homes coming to market. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time
- To protect the site from spam and abuse
We don't sell your personal information.
Who processes it
We share your information only with services that help us run the site and respond to you:
- Google (Google Sheets), where form submissions are stored for our team
- Resend, which delivers the email notifying our team of your request
- Vercel, which hosts the website
If you become a client, we may share relevant details with parties involved in your transaction (for example William Raveis Real Estate, attorneys, lenders or inspectors) as needed to complete it, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as they're useful for responding to you and for our business records, and delete them on request unless we need to keep them for legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing grace.pettengill@raveis.com or calling 617 763 0902.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
